About the Proud2Bme Summit
Overview
When you flip through the pages of a magazine, do you see people who look like you and your friends? Does the media reflect the various sizes, shapes, skin colors, and ethnicities that exist in your world? Or, do you see photoshopped images that are too perfect to be real?
It's time we stop looking to mainstream media to accurately represent our world. Because they don't.
Stand up. Speak out. Talk back to mainstream media. Join a movement of young people who have had enough... and are ready to do something about it.
